**Position Details**
- Location: Findon
- Shifts: Various shifts across a 24/7 roster, including active overnight

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-intensity support for a customer with complex health and behavioural needs, following

established quality care plans.
- Use positive behaviour support strategies, understand restrictive practices, and follow guidelines set by the

customer’s Behavioural Support Plan (BSP).
- Record accurate case notes on medications, seizures, and behavioural support in line with the Quality &
Safeguards Commission.
- Support the customer’s interests, including arts and crafts, music, walking, and animal care.
- Transport the customer in your own vehicle to appointments and outings as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Cert III in Individual Support, Mental Health, Disability, or a related field (or diploma in nursing or equivalent

experience).
- Extensive demonstrated experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, seizure management,

Autism, and OCD.
- Knowledge of behavioural support practices, restrictive practices, and experience following detailed care

plans (including medications and seizures)
- Understanding of the Quality & Safeguards Commission’s standards
- Willingness to work with a customer’s family and Behavioural Support Specialist to support the participant’s

goals.

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Current South Australian Working with Children Check (Working)
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Check (Working)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (desirable) or equivalent experience
- Current First Aid certificate (completed in the last 3 years)
- Current CPR certificate (completed in the last 12 months)
- Current Manual Handling (practical and theory) certificate (completed in the last 2 years)
- Driver’s licence
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
- NDIS Supporting Safe Meals Training Module
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
- Evidence of their Right to Work in Australia such as:

- Visa/VEVO check
- Passport
- Citizenship
- Birth certificate
- 100 points of identification

**O**ther Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work across various shifts in the Findon area, including active overnight shifts
- A genuine interest in arts, crafts, music, and animals
