**About the role**
This position is responsible for leading a team at one of 7 library locations. Initially this role will be located at the new innovative Paramatta Library (PHIVE), leading one of three teams to provide an exciting range of creative programs and library services in a brand-new CBD location. **Daily you will**:

- Coach and lead team members to provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate & deliver community-focussed programs
- Manage physical resources and the environment to provide welcoming and attractive spaces for our library users
- Work closely with PHIVE and other library teams to Supervise and coach relevant staff, liaise with other information and library staff

**About You**
- Recognised qualifications in Information Science/Librarianship (eligible for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
- Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Current technology & marketing skills
- Excellent communication skills in presentation, oral and written
- Comprehensive understanding and development of the diverse community needs

You’ll have experience supervising teams and enjoy engaging proactively with customers. In addition to a positive and solutions-focussed approach, you’ll bring a track record of delivering a range of customer experiences, and willingness to give innovative ideas a go.
