EBA Rates + Overtime

Civil Infrastructure Group was founded in early 2016 to provide specialist Subcontracting services in the Construction of reinforced and post-tension concrete structures working across major Projects like the West Gate Tunnel and the majority of Level Crossing Removal Projects.

Labourers execute manual duties such as digging trenches, unloading building materials and preparing job sites
- Prepare sites.
- Assist other works when required

**Requirements**:

- RIW
- White card
- Driver's licence
- Covid-compliant vaccine certificate
- Previous Civil experience
- High-Risk Tickets: Slew Crane, Working at heights, EWP.
- Ability to operate additional machinery & have additional tickets - desired
- AQF Certificate I Building Construction or experience in the field will substitute the formal qualification.

Tasks and Duties will include but are not limited to
- Rail labouring
- Uses precision measuring instruments.
- Material handling functions.
- Operate small plant and pneumatic machinery.
- Inventory and store control.
- Operate hand tools and welding equipment.
- Sheet metal soldering; tack welding.
- Operation of machinery, if qualified.
- Assists one or more tradespersons.
- General cleaning and tidy-up of the site
- Assist with the unloading of various materials from delivery vehicles
- Assist trades with specific tasks

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $49.00 - $51.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Labourer: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Work Safely at Heights (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
