Position summary

Downer Road Services has exciting opportunities available for Apprentice Boilemakers to join our business.

You’ll be joining a highly supportive team and will gain valuable hands-on experience whilst also completing a Boilermaker Apprenticeship - earn while you learn

Downer’s Apprenticeship Program will provide the skills, guidance and development that can lead to an exciting career in the civil industry.

What the job looks like

Shadow and learn from our talented tradespeople on the repairs and maintenance of all our heavy industry plant and equipment

Carry out general labour duties as well as participating in toolbox talk and safety days

Get to know your way around heavy vehicles and mobile equipment while working in our state-of-the-art workshop in Gillamn

What you'll bring

Current Driver’s Licence

Current General Construction Induction card

Willingness to learn and a can-do attitude is essential

Strong team player with the proven ability to work efficiently with others

Strong commitment to a Zero Harm culture
