**PART-TIME 3-DAY HOUSEKEEPING AND AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY - BALMAIN**

Pay: $35 ph (Negotiable)
- Knowledge of the Montessori teaching method
- Prefer a Mandarin-speaking nanny

Our easy-going and professional Balmain-based family is searching for an experienced nanny who is kind, has strong attention to detail, and is honest, trustworthy, patient, and respectful. The nanny must be willing to learn and reliable in providing their children with high-quality care. It is essential that the nanny possess strong experience working with 2 children of a similar age.

Whilst the children are at school, the nanny will assist with household duties such as laundry, general tidying of the house, and preparing the playroom with activities/toys/crafts for the children.

In the afternoon, the nanny will pick up the children from school and assist them with putting away their shoes/bags/lunch boxes. The children may have an afternoon tea snack if hungry and free play in/outdoors. The nanny will also supervise the children over dinner time and help with loading the dishwasher and cleaning up the dining/kitchen area, as well as finishing up any laundry and/or other housekeeping tasks.

The successful nanny will be provided with a beautiful home environment, flexibility, and willingness to work with the nanny and their individual strengths and interests to create a role that complements the family's needs and become a valued member of the family.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Building a strong relationship with the children
- Supervise the children over dinner time
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
- Completing household duties
- Meals preparation
- School pick up
- Maintaining all aspects of the care routine for the children

To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:

- Swim ability - preferable but not essential
- A minimum of 5+ years experience working with children
- A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Excellent communication skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour
