Gardener Position Full-time

The purpose of this position is to maintain Newcastle Anglican grounds and facilities in an attractive and tidy condition, providing a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.

**Role & Responsibilities**: Ensuring equipment and premises are maintained in a safe and sound condition Perform general garden maintenance daily Ensure the effective use of chemicals to control weeds and cleaning Planting, mulching, hedging and weeding General rubbish removal, Garden bed construction and maintenance.
About you? Positive and motivated attitude Reliable Team player A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children) or willing to obtain Current drivers’ licence Qualifications and/or experience in horticulture parks and gardens, gardening and landscaping Keen interest in gardening Chem Cert desirable Good time management skills and strong attention to detail Use of hand operated trimmers Able to work both as part of a team and unsupervised
