Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We also provide electricity and gas to about 1 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

**The role**:
As Treasury Officer for Snowy Hydro, you will join a dynamic Treasury team to provide effective support on day to day treasury activities and ongoing improvement. Most tasks are conducted via the Reval Treasury System, and a key aspect of this role will be to become very familiar with the system functionality. Snowy Hydro will provide full end to end on the job training to continuously support learning and development.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
Update daily FX rates for the accounting team

Prepare the daily cash journals for download to the (Ellipse) Accounting System

Performing month-end system close-outs and reconciliations

Preparing hedge contract entries into Reval (Interest Rates Swaps, FX Hedges and Brent Oil Hedges)

Assisting with Prudential responsibilities for trading within the NEM (National Electricity Market)

Assisting the Treasurer/Team in liaising with banks and financial institutions

**We're ideally looking for someone with**:
A university degree in Accounting/Economics/Mathematics or a related field

Preferably relevant treasury or accounting experience

Demonstrated proficiency in Excel

Comfortable working with multiple software platforms

Strong written & verbal communications with a high level of attention to detail

Demonstrated stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
