**Maintenance Electrician - Afternoon Shift**

Nestlé Campbellfield, the home of KitKat, Smarties, Aero, Milky Bar and more, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking A-Grade Electrician to join our maintenance team. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on role, enjoys problem-solving and is committed to maintaining high operational standards. Working as part of a team, your role will primarily focus on completing preventative electrical maintenance to optimise production and responding to breakdowns.

You will be responsible for, and have the ability to deliver in the following areas:

- Maintaining equipment and providing service to ensure that all electrical systems, machinery and equipment operate safely, efficiently and with mínimal downtime
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppages
- Coaching operators to improve their process knowledge and skills
- Reviewing, creating and modifying preventative maintenance plans for optimum line performance
- Maintaining and improving OH&S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards in the workplace

To be successful in the role:

- Possess a current A Grade Electrical Licence with at least five years post-trade experience
- Extensive experience with PLCs, VSDs, motion control, robotic systems and control instrumentation
- Excellent Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
- Sound knowledge of safety practices and electrical standards
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings
- Possess strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with SAP
- Have good time management skills and the focus to work under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive cooperation and a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- A willingness and ability to learn new processes
- The initiative and courage to speak out when correction is required
- At least two years of experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment is desirable

We offer a 36 hour week. You may be required to work overtime during the week and on weekends. We have canteen facilities onsite and supply tools and uniforms. Employment terms and conditions are as per the Nestlé Australia Limited Victorian Confectionery Agreement 2021-2024.
