Vce Mathematics Teacher

**Role Description/Criteria**

**The position**

We are seeking a passionate and experienced VCE Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team. This opportunity is offered as a **full time, ongoing role commencing Term 1 2025.**

Responsibilities of the role will include:

- Deliver engaging lessons in VCE General Mathematics and Year 7 to Year 10 Mathematics classes
- Create and implement effective lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Support students in their academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the mathematics curriculum
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices
- Actively participate and engage in the School’s pastoral care system which reflects Loreto values
- Provide students with a child-safe environment
- Participate actively in all aspects of school life beyond the classroom including sport, wellbeing and/or cultural activities

**About You**

To be successful in this position, it is essential that you have:

- Current Teaching Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
- Proven expertise and knowledge in **teaching VCE General Mathematics**:

- A collaborative approach with colleagues in planning and delivering curriculum
- Proven experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students, staff and parents
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
