Bendon Group is seeking a** Country Manager **for our retail channels in** Australia**

In turn we will offer you:

Oversee the sales and team performance of Bendon Groups three retail channels in the Australian market. As a **new position to the business**, you will champion the omni-channel approach to support our regional leaders, through our outlet, Myer concession and wholesale business.

We are seeking a leader based in Victoria, who is adapted to leading across multi-functional teams and has a deep-rooted understanding of the retail environment. With our support office based in Auckland New Zealand, you will be confident in working remotely whilst maintaining key relationships with your support team as part of the senior Bendon team through your communication. This role will report directly into the General Manager of Sales (NZ based) and will also include their own regional remit caring for Western and Southern Australia.

As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for
- Driving sales success across all channels, meeting and exceeding revenue, EBIT, payroll and expense budget for Australia
- ** People leadership across our three channels,** with our expansion in the Australian market engagement with our one team model is crucial and this comes from strong on the ground leaders
- Highlighting opportunities and implementing positive change, through the PNL, team development and cost management
- Ensuring all operational aspects are completed in line with Bendon policies, and encouraging the Bendon way of working as a tool for continued business improvement
- An experienced manager at regional level or higher from retail, who is ready for the responsibilities as a Country Manager
- Highly numerically literate with **strong business acumen** to critically assess the Australian PNL
- Able to demonstrate their ability to work in a cross-functional business, always having their finger on the pulse to use the resources on hand to exceed sales and profit budgets
- Driven by instilling and fostering, a high performing, successful and engaging team culture as proven by their achievement of budgets in prior roles
