- About the roleAs the Risk & Controls Analyst, you will work across the business to provide an independent and objective assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. This activity is performed in accordance with Zurich’s Internal Controls Integrated Framework (ICIF) and its implementation applies to internal controls within Zurich Financial Services Australia (ZFSA).

In this role you will support the Internal Controls Manager to:

- Plan and undertake Line 1 management testing and controls assessment activities.
- Contribute to the timely and accurate execution of assigned activities in relation to internal controls.
- Document controls design and operating effectiveness assessment and test results.
- Prepare and present outcomes of risk assessments to management.
- Important to your success- You will have a strong risk and controls background with tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, technology, or a related discipline.
- Insurance and/or Financial Services experience will be held in high regard, Big 4 experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Professional qualifications in accountancy, finance audit, technology (such as e.g.: CPA, CA, CISA, CIA, CRISC, etc.) would be a distinct advantage.
