As an **essential services** worker your role will be vital, and we’d love for you to be part of the team. We are currently seeking a **Catering Assistant **to work across both of our Senior living sites **ANGLICAN CARE - Bishop Tyrrell and Storm Village, based in Newcastle.**

**Key responsibilities will also include**:

- Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming style of service to all customers
- Provide general waiting duties of food and beverages
- Assisting the kitchen with food preparation
- Work effectively in a team
- Adhere to health, safety and security procedures

**To be successful in the role you will need**:

- Exceptional customer service
- Catering, Food and Beverage and Kitchen hand experience is an advantage
- Flexible approach and attitude
- Team player and able to work autonomously
- Flexible availability

**You'll also need to**:

- In line with the required legislation, a valid and current police clearance and influenza vaccination (or be prepared to acquire).
- it is a legislative requirement for all senior living workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19.
