**Your new role**
The Investment Specialist position is a multi-faceted role, it will be key in managing relationships with external platforms and “direct investors” in the JANA Investment Trusts, which are market segments we see significant potential for growth for JANA. This role will work on a wide range of business and investment-related activities including contributing to papers and presentation material that serve to differentiate JANA’s investment products.
Some of your duties will include:
- Oversight of all aspects of written communication in relation to JANA’s investment trusts. This includes communication in relation to portfolio changes, performance, quarterly commentary, sustainability reporting and initiatives, product disclosure and legislative requirements.
- Working with portfolio managers and research teams to improve key messages regarding JANA Investment Trusts
- Maintaining strong relationships with and be a key contact for selected JANA clients
- Assisting in the marketing and distribution effort as required, including helping to develop marketing material, meeting prospects and contributing to written responses
- Developing strategic initiatives that drive the growth and long-term success of JANA and improves outcomes to clients
**About you**
We're looking for a passionate and motivated investment professional with exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills. As a JANA Investment Specialist, you have expertise in technical writing and editing techniques and the ability to communicate complex issues succinctly and factually. You will have a collaborative approach and enjoy working with different teams. You have experience presenting to internal and external clients, prospects and boards and are committed to exceeding expectations. A passion for investments and related issues is beneficial and you can demonstrate an ability to create networks of clients and referral relationships.
A relevant tertiary qualification is required alongside transferable work experience and skills.
