Due to recent and ongoing growth, Our Client is looking for an Electrical/Instrument apprentice to join the team servicing a great variety of sites and clients throughout Western Australia and interstate.

Here is a little bit about the position...
This electrical/Instrument apprenticeship is for a person who seeks variety in their workplace. If that person is you, you may find yourself working from the North-West to Great Southern regions and then out to the Goldfields all within a working week, the next week maybe interstate or offshore. It's not all remote work as the position also services the metro area sites and allows you to perform duties within our workshop.

This is a great opportunity to develop you into a specialist in process instrumentation with ongoing training and support from our experienced team. At the end of the apprenticeship you will have gained the knowledge, skills, training and if successful, will end up with a Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation as well as the Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.

The majority of the work is short-term jobs all over WA. The aim is to book the bulk of the work from Monday to Friday, thus allowing most weekends off, some weekend work is still required for client shutdowns, etc. Being a small team, your hard work and technical growth won't go unnoticed we recognize and reward effort.

All applicants MUST reside within the Perth Metro area or be willing to relocate for the role.

To be successful you MUST have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

- A West Australian C class drivers’ license
- Be able to pass a Police clearance
- Be able to pass regular medical and Drug and Alcohol screening

With a commitment to safe working practices, you will also be enthusiastic and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work well in a team.

The following are desirable but not essential:

- Completed an electrical pre-apprenticeship
- Completed High School to a year 12 level (or be about to)

Established in 2006 to provide quality Instrument contracting services to the mining and mineral processing industries, with a strong focus upon safety. Our Client provides a comprehensive installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair service to a variety of sites within Australia.

As this is an Apprenticeship, you must be an Australian citizen or Permanent resident.
