**About us**
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
**About the role**
The role will be integral to uplifting and supporting the risk management function at the Court.
You will also:
- Contribute to the advancement of the risk management culture within MCV by providing support in relation to the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework
- Develop and maintain the MCV Feedback and Complaints policy and procedure to ensure ongoing management of complaints and feedback received and identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of key governance projects, such as the development of frameworks, policies and procedures relevant to the Business Assurance team's key functions
- Develop and deliver training and awareness activities to ensure all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in identifying and managing risks across MCV divisions
- Provide high level expert consultancy and advice in relation to risk management standards and practices based on best practice.
**About you**
- Demonstrated knowledge of or experience in developing and implementing strategic and operational risk management and reporting in the public sector environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex policy and program issues and provide accurate and strategic advice
- Demonstrated experience in supporting other quality and assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with best practice principles.
