**Our Family**:

- Hi there We're a young family living in the heart of Canberra with our two-year-old daughter. Over the past ten years, we've called many of Australia's most-loved places home - from Bondi and Byron Bay to Cairns, Melbourne, and the Snowy Mountains - and we're now happily settled in beautiful Canberra (recently named the most liveable city on the planet - again). Lina is originally from Germany and runs her Illustration, Design, and Photography Studio. Dan, from England, operates a food and catering business that often takes him and actually the whole family across NSW with our waffle food truck. Lina works from home flexibly, while Dan mostly works from home too, but is often away at catering events or office gigs. Our little one attends a Steiner day care from Tuesday to Thursday, and the rest of the week she's home with us. As summer approaches, we'll be spending a few weeks by the coast near Jervis Bay, where Dan runs his food truck at local caravan parks, and we plan to be up in Byron Bay for the Easter holidays. Running two creative businesses keeps our days varied and full. With both our families overseas, we're looking for someone kind and reliable who'd like to be part of our little team - lending a hand where needed while enjoying life together.
- Our Family Philosophy Our daughter's day care follows the Steiner philosophy, which deeply aligns with our values - encouraging mindfulness, confidence, and lots of outdoor play. We try to keep things balanced: mínimal phone time around her, plenty of active and imaginative play, and space to explore freely. She does occasionally watch TV, but we aim for an 80/20 approach - just like with food: mostly wholesome and healthy, but we also believe in enjoying life's little treats.
