**About the Team**

Join the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team today. This role can be based in either Brisbane, Melbourne or Adelaide. ILS works as part of the Engineering Department to deliver the best products and services to our customers from logistics analysis through to instructional design and delivery.

**About the Role**

The Logistic Support Analyst Lead will ensure the development, production and delivery of allocated work packages. The LSA Lead will provide leadership and mentor a team of LSA professionals in the delivery of ILS artefacts.
- As Logistics Support Analyst Lead, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Defining and determining maintenance and support requirements for vehicle variants;
- Generating and collating data to populate a Logistic Support Analysis database;
- Assisting with the management and manipulation of the Logistic Support Analysis database including defining and creating levels of system indenture, and creating and maintaining records and reports;
- Conducting and contributing to the Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA);
- Execution of extensive logistic analysis and calculations on availability, reliability, maintainability and testability;
- Contributing to the development of plans, processes and procedures in line with the programme requirements;
- Providing mentoring of junior analysts in the development of the LSAR and other LSA artefacts and the progression through relevant reviews;
- Contribute to Engineering Developing activities, ensuring supportability considerations are included in product design;
- Be an advocate for ILS best practice within RDA;
- Activity contribute to the continuous improvement of the ILS team processes and procedures;
- Input to progress reports, defining risks and managing issues related to LSA activities; and
- Supporting the Integrated Logistic Support Manager (ILSM) in the on time delivery of LSA deliverables.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Demonstrated professional experience in Integrated Logistic Support and Logistic Support Analysis would be highly regarded;
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team of LSA discipline Specialists;
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality logistics documentation to enable the project to attain IMR, IOC, FMR and FOC on time and budget;
- Previous experience with an Integrated Master Scheduling tool such as Open Plan Professional;
- eMRD, OmegaPS and/or other ILS toolset experience
- Experience in populating and maintaining a LSA database;
- Proficient in MS Office (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Experience in a support environment for complex Defence related equipment;
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Integrated Logistic or STEM qualification highly desirable;
- Certificate IV in a relevant technical trade with a minimum of 5 years’ experience;
- The ability to analyse complex technical systems;
- Knowledge of design, production and / or support techniques for complex equipment;
- Strong communication skills with a focus on stakeholder engagement and management;
- Ability to work with information covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations;
- Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
