We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic and creative team in Toowoomba.

**What will your typical week look like?**
- Assist in the preparation of business activity statements
- Date entry into accounting software, reconciling client accounts, processing wages
- Assisting clients with ad hoc bookkeeping queries
- Ensure jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget
- Assist with administration tasks including filing, maintaining client records and data entry
- Support process improvement, efficiency and consistency by utilising standardised workflows to support automation, adhering to Group guidelines
- Ensure all documentation including work papers and client files are maintained in line with Findex compliance requirements
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge to ensure compliance with all statutory and relevant regulatory requirements
- Liaise with various providers and statutory authorities (i.e. ASIC, ATO) on behalf of clients
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing clients and contacts

**Let’s talk about you**

You are someone with..
- A bookkeeping background - but you’ll learn the ropes from our experienced team
- Experience working with Xero, MYOB and other accounting programs would be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft outlook, excel & word
- Working towards your degree or Tafe Certificate - preferred but not necessary
- Good written and verbal communication
