We are looking for an ACFI Coordinator to work across a portfolio of 3 aged care homes - Austral, Picton and Thirlmere, to achieve the best funding outcomes for our residents by ensuring excellent documentation and well written assessments and care plans.
About the Role
As a key team member of our teams across 3 homes, you will use your experience to manage ACFI processes and submissions and identify funding opportunities to maximise ACFI claims to secure funding to provide the best care for our residents.
Responsibilities of the role: As an ACFI coordinator, your responsibilities will be, but not limited to- Ensuring residents have the right level of funding for their care and support needs- Update ACFI related documentation and training material in line with legislative changes and to accurately support funding claims- Liaise with key stakeholders about ACFI submissions and funding opportunities- Learn about the new funding model ANACC with training packages available
What are we looking for:
Proven experience and understanding of the ACFI submission process and experience in identifying ACFI claims would see you thrive in this role.- Strong communication skills with excellent stakeholder engagement skills- Relevant qualifications in Individual support/Aged care/Nursing would be beneficial but not necessary- A current NSW driver's license and willing to travel between the above-mentioned locations- Good computer skills- A sound understanding of aged care and the principles guiding this sector- Evidence of or willingness to obtain vaccinations that comply with organisational and/or public health requirements- Willingness to undergo a National Criminal Check
