Apprenticeships Queensland has a host based in the Greenslopes area looking for an enthusiastic person wanting to do a Painting Apprenticeship.

**Apprenticeship Wages Apply**

The role of apprentice painter encompasses a variety of tasks to be completed in a timely and efficient manner. Apprentice painter is required to: - Attend jobs to prepare the area for work (lay drop sheets, tape up windows etc.) and clean job site on completion or at the end of the day
- Prepare surfaces to a high standard (sanding, filling, caulking)
- Painting all surfaces in a variety of paint types (water, oil, clear, varnishes)

- Skills
- Strong communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with clients if required
- Takes pride in their work
- Is punctual and dedicated
- Showing initiative to tackle issues that may arise

**Working Conditions**:

- Working indoors and outdoors
- Working at heights
