**About This Opportunity**

We are seeking a compassionate and patient support worker to assist participant, an adult with developmental delay and ADHD, with personal grooming.

**Wednesday: 4:00 PM to 06:30 PM (Assistance with daily life)**

**Friday: 4:00 PM to 07:00 PM (Community access)**

**Support Workers at Enable Life Disability Services**
- Provide shaving assistance on Monday and Friday afternoons.
- Ensure Participant's safety and comfort during the grooming (shaving) process.
- Be adaptable to Participant's needs, recognizing that he may have difficulty remaining still.
- Administering medications
- Domestic support (laundry, light cleaning, etc.)
- Social support (companionship)
- Community access

**About You**
- Experience working with individuals with developmental delays and/or ADHD is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Patience, understanding, and the ability to provide gentle care.
- Must be reliable and punctual.

**Essential Criteria**
- A deep commitment to the reliable provision of respectful care and support.
- A sophisticated understanding of professional boundaries and safety.
- A current NDIS Worker Clearance
- A Working with Children’s Check
- Evidence of rights to work in Australia
- Evidence of three COVID vaccines
- Current First Aid certification
- A sound level of digital literacy and a willingness to learn
- Australian Driver's License with full comprehensive insurance.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $39.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- On call
