Sheetmetal Trades Worker

Set up, adjust, and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal according to project specifications.
- Select and install correct tooling for each job, ensuring proper machine settings.
- Perform both manual and automated press brake operations to create parts in accordance with drawings and production schedules.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to understand product requirements.
- Determine the most effective methods for bending metal sheets based on project specifications, material types, and desired tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings or tooling to correct defects or improve accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid production delays.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Strive to meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining high levels of quality.
- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, part qualities, and any quality issues or adjustments made during the shift.

Pay: $73,150.00 - $100,000.00 per year
