Kennel Manager

Kennel manager hands on position

We’re looking for dedicated animal lover to run our team.

Experience professionally working with dogs (daycare, boarding, shelter) is desirable.
Solid understanding and ability to read canine behaviour
Basic dog handling skill set (desirable)
Any certificates or qualifications in animal studies is desirable but not required
Drive to learn and grow
Positive, hard-working and enthusiastic drive
Ability to work independently and confidently on certain tasks
Grit and determination
Willingness to get dirty, as well as participate in an extensive cleaning routine

Orgenise booking and ordering.
Ability to cover shifts with short notice and be available to work weekends and holidays
About the Role:
Answer the phone and take booking

feeding and medicating
cleaning kennels and drains
general cleaning and restocking of cupboards in the kitchen
washing up
attending to laundry
walking dogs
preparing and distributing enrichment
providing socialisation and in-pen training
bathing dogs
cleaning up the yards.
Hours will include
6 30 am start

4 to 6 hour shift

15 to 35 hour per for the right person

Receive monthly bonus

Must have a car

Must have experience
