St Mark’s Darling Point is a growing church that seeks to be ‘transformed by grace to love one another, to serve the city, and to share Christ’.

We are looking to appoint a full-time Assistant Minister to work with our current ministry team. This role, we imagine, will have responsibility for our integration system, will oversee our 5:30 pm congregation; will minister to and with young adults; and will oversee our weddings ministry However, we would be interested in shaping the role to the right applicant’s gifts and experience.

The successful applicant will be:
a growing disciple of Jesus Christ, with a deep and prayerful knowledge of the Scriptures

a person of firmly evangelical and reformed convictions

able to work with people of all generations in building teams and in equipping and enabling people

a person of maturity and energy, and a good team member

creative and well-organised

He or she should be:
the holder of a bachelor’s degree in theology

preferably ordained, or seeking to be ordained in the Anglican Church
