Youth Worker

**About the Role**

The Youth Services division is currently seeking a Youth Worker for outreach, sites and schools. You will have experience working with young people, ideally working with the Department for Education and/or Flexible Learning Options (FLO)/ Tailored Learning (TL) students.

**We have multiple roles that will be**servicing** schools in the Northern Region**and** **Western Region**and our Salisbury Site and will be offered on a part time basis until 25/01/2026**with potential opportunity to increase hours if business need arises**.**

Travel will be required between the sites, schools and within community. Excellent organisational skills, building and maintaining good relationships are paramount.

**About You**

To be successful in the role you will be able to:

- Demonstrate extensive experience in youth case management;
- Demonstrate your ability to identify mental health issues;
- Demonstrate excellent administrative skills, and
- Demonstrate experience working in the youth services sector.

You will also be required to:

- Hold a current driver’s licence and own vehicle;
- Have one of the following qualifications; Minimum Cert IV in Youth Work, Juvenile Justice, Child Youth and Family Intervention, Bachelor of Social Work or Psychology;
- Have completed RAN (Responding to Abuse and Neglect) training; and
- Hold a current Working with Children Check.

**Remuneration**

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
