The role of the Impact Analyst is to support the Manager Impact Integrity and Senior Impact Analyst with monitoring and reporting on Bank Australia’s impact activities, including financial and non-financial metrics; contributing data and insights relating to retail products and programs that deliver impact; and contributing to environmental, social and governance programs and initiatives including but not limited to: the annual impact report, the Bank Australia Sustainability Bond, B Corporation certification, GABV membership, Bank Australia Impact Fund, and Responsible Banking Policy.

This is an entry level analyst role in an exciting and evolving impact space. The ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience, and/or a deep passion, in impact or sustainability is strongly preferred.

We currently have a fixed term, full time opportunity (Until 31st October 2025) for an Impact Analyst to join our Impact Management Division. This role will be based in our new, state of the art Head Office in Collingwood.

**What you will be doing**

The Impact Analyst role will support the Manager Impact Integrity and Senior Impact Analyst with:
**Impact management**
- Collation, analysis and reporting of sustainability and impact related data relating to the bank’s operations and lending and investment portfolio.
- Identification of opportunities to streamline reporting processes, and collaboration with internal teams to affect process improvements.
- Support of the Bank Australia Impact Fund through the development of measurement tools and processes.
- Data collation contributing to Bank Australia’s B Corp re-certification.
- Contribution to the coordination of employee learning and engagement on environmental, social and governance issues, including coordination of online and in-person events.
- Preparation of monthly Excel-based reporting of the bank’s impact finance activities and performance.
- General support for other Impact Management team initiatives, including across sustainability and impact strategy activities, as required.

**Impact finance programs and products**
- Completing regular reporting on impact finance programs for internal users and external program partners.
- Supporting frontline staff with customer queries related to retail impact finance programs and products.
- Conducting market scans and research of comparable impact finance products to assist the bank to continue developing competitive and impactful products that meet customer expectations.

**Sustainability Bond program**
- Contributing to identify and report on asset eligibility for Bank Australia’s Sustainability Bond.
- Contributing to the annual audit process for the bond program.
