**The Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer and maintain Microsoft servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Oversee network infrastructure, including design, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Implement security measures across all platforms to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure (External for Client and Internal systems) with business objectives.
- Design, configure, and maintain network hardware and security appliances.
- Identify network security flaws and vulnerabilities and provide strategies to mitigate them.
- Employ firewalls, anti-malware, intrusion prevention, vulnerability scanning, and other protective measures.
- Monitor, analyse, and respond to security events, including IPS, Firewall, IDS, and VPN.
- Collaborate with members of various teams and departments to achieve security andperformance requirements.
- Maintain a record of network users and their privileges to ensure that only authorisedpeople can access sensitive data.
- Document and maintain all network and security architecture and configurationinformation

**What we are looking for**:
**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience with AWS, Azure services and cloud architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and security practices.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
- Familiarity with database management( MS SQL and MySQL) and cybersecurityprinciples.
- Experience in cybersecurity auditing and reporting (e.g. NIST, Tenable).

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Tertiary level qualification in the Information Technology field.
- Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure certification.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
- Cybersecurity certification.
- 3 years of relevant technical experience.
- Experience supporting Health & Aged Care environments.
- Experience in Jira IT Service Management and Confluence.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
