**About the role**
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Fire tester to join BSA fire division. This role will require the completion of Preventative maintenance servicing Monthly, Six Monthly and Yearly Testing of Dry Systems for our clients’ fire assets.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing service, maintenance and repairs to various types of fire equipment eg. Fire Panels and systems, Passive Fire, EWIS Panels and systems, Emergency Lighting, Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems & Portable Fire Equipment.
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Mentoring and supervising apprentices and trainees
- Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Coordinating, compiling and submitting the necessary paperwork and other procedures
- Attending call-outs as per rostered requirements
- Maintaining industry knowledge and monitoring market developments, keeping up-to-date with the latest changes and advances in fire technology and relevant Australian Standards
- Commitment to the highest standards of business code of conduct, aligned with expectations on ethical behavior according to company values
- Complying with company and client HSEQ policies and procedures

**Skills and experience we require**:

- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the fire industry
- Previous Experience completing Monthly, Six Monthly and Yearly Testing
- Restricted License to carry testing of Hydrants and Hose reels will be highly regarded when discussing remuneration.
- Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing (preferred but not mandatory)
- Current Extinguisher Agent Handling License (preferred but not mandatory)
- Current Blue/White Card
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
