Alfred Infant Child and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYAMHWS) is friendly to infants, children, young people and their families/carers.

We provide accessible mental health services inclusive of family, friends and support networks.

We are a specialist, multi-disciplinary and intensive care mental health service incorporating the lived and living experience of family peer specialists and youth peer workers.

Our service is divided into two streams 0-11 and 12-26 years, and includes specialist services in the areas of perinatal care, neurodevelopmental presentations, eating disorders and outreach support.

**What you'll be doing**
- The Neuropsychologist will be part of a supportive interdisciplinary team, reporting to the Neurodevelopmental Team Leader.
- Care will involve the young person, their family, and support networks, combining lived experience and clinical staff.
- The role may include working some extended hours - evening and Saturday shifts.

**About you**

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised person to provide clinical neuropsychological services across Alfred ICYAMHWS, working with children and young people aged 0 - 25 years, with the role sitting in the Neurodevelopmental Stream..

Along with the relevant professional registration or membership, you’ll have prior experience in the assessment and diagnosis of a range of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders and to have a commitment to high standards of client care and family support..

You'll also have to complete/provide a valid Victorian Working with Children Check, be willing to undergo a background check, and you'll require Australian working rights.

**WHAT YOU’VE GOT**
- Master or Doctoral degree in Clinical Neuropsychology
- Full registration with AHPRA under the Health Practitioners Regulation National Law Act 2009
- Specialist endorsement in clinical neuropsychology or eligibility for endorsement in clinical neuropsychology
- For Grade 3, Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Psychologist at a Grade 2 Level (or equivalent) and approved Supervisor Status with the Psychology Board of Australia
