Systems & Operations Manager

**Job Overview**

As the Systems & Operations Manager at Flowlane, you will be our 'Integrator' - integrating vision into robust business processes, operational systems, and workflows. You will bridge the gap between strategic intent and day-to-day execution. In addition to Ops Management, we'll look to you to lead initiatives in project management, process improvement, and technology integration—including emerging tools—to ensure that every facet of our organization operates at peak efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**

Operational Strategy & Process Development:

- Translate vision into clear, actionable business processes and operational systems.
- Develop, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments.
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Systems Integration & Automation:

- Oversee the integration of various business systems, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between departments.
- Implement and manage automation tools to streamline operations, including project management platforms.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to support evolving business needs.

Project Management & Execution:

- Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Utilize project management tools to monitor progress, manage resources, and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure alignment of operational goals and resource allocation.

Leadership & Collaboration:

- Serve as a key advisor to the Managing Director, providing insights and updates on operational performance.
- Work collaboratively with various teams to ensure effective execution of work
- Mentor and guide team members

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented systems and processes.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for the executive team, highlighting operational achievements and areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

Proven Operational Expertise:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, process design, automation, system design, systems integration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in translating high-level strategic visions into effective operational systems.

Technical & Automation Proficiency:

- Extensive experience with project management and automation tools.
- Strong familiarity with developing and implementing SOPs and process documentation.

Strategic & Analytical Mindset:

- Deep understanding of business process improvement, systems thinking, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with EOS/Traction methodologies or similar frameworks is a plus.

Leadership & Communication:

- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategies and operational plans.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
