**The Role**
CPE Switchboard is seeking a
**Laser Operator**
- **Trades Assistant**

Key Responsibilities:

- Completing all assigned duties.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the safety, environmental and quality policies, processes and procedures.
- Reporting hazards and near misses.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to enhance manufacturing performance in terms of quality, safety and productivity.
- Follow the non-conformance reporting (NCR) process to enhance and embed all learning opportunities to eliminate repeat quality occurrences.

**About You**
- Ideally about 2 years’ experience as a trades Assistants
- Previous experience in a Sheetmetal shop or running Fiber Lasers would be preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Education level of a minimum of Year 10.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Manual Handling skill/experience.
- Forklift ticket is preferred for loading and unloading of pallets.
- Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- An understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office.
