Wellness Officer

St Charbel’s Care Centre is a progressive organisation, dedicated to servicing the ageing population. Established in 2019, SCCC is passionate about delivering exceptional service to its consumers and providing care that is above and beyond. SCCC is an integral part of the Maronite Community within Western Sydney and SCCC aims to allow consumers to retain their active role within the Maronite Community.

We are currently seeking a passionate **full-time Wellness Officer** to join our team. Working within a dedicated and friendly team, you will ensure that our residents' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being is enhanced through meaningful wellbeing activities.

Your core responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in delivering activities and wellbeing initiatives as part of our Recreational Activities team
- Liaising with residents to assist in developing wellbeing activities that meet the resident's needs and interests
- Attending to resident care, including emotional wellness activities
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with residents and colleagues
- Contributing to a safe working environment and actively maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

**You will have**
- A sound understanding of wellbeing activities that enhance experience for the residents
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to participate in the design of wellbeing activities
- Knowledge and understanding of current Aged Care Quality Standards
- A current national criminal history check
- Qualification in Aged Care and/or Leisure and Lifestyle
- Valid working rights in Australia
