We are looking for Telecommunications Linesworker to join our NSW team.

**About the role**

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Adjusting, repairing, and replacing faulty components, followed by testing with electronic instruments.
- Setting up telecommunications equipment such as telephones, switchboards, and data transmission devices.
- Integrating and configuring telecommunications equipment.
- Attaching and connecting wires and cables to various appliances and equipment.
- Installing cabling systems for telephone, radio, pay TV, and computer networks.
- Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and work areas to determine the correct positioning and connections for equipment installation.
- Joining cables and sealing sheaths using materials like lead and thermoplastic.
- Performing fibre installation tasks, including preparation, handling, hygiene, and termination of Ribbon & Multi-core fibres.
- Locating faults in telecommunications systems using tools like ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and transmission measuring instruments.
- Erecting, testing, and maintaining both aerial and underground wiring, as well as radio and mobile phone antennae.
- Conducting safety and quality inspections, along with reporting non-conformance issues.

**Qualifications and Requirements**

**To be considered for this opportunity you will have the following skills and experience**:

- Qualification equivalent to AQF Cert IV or higher or min 3 years relevant work experience.
- At least 3 years working experience in cabling, trouble shooting and team management on a major telecommunication network.
- NBN enable qualified.
- First Aid & CPR required.
- Construction Card (White Card) required.
- Cabling and testing certificates required.
- Traffic Management card (Yellow Card) preferred.
- Confined space & gas detection preferred.
- Working at height preferred.
- Australian (C Class) Drivers Licence required.
- Police check (within 6 months): Must be clear with no convictions.

**Pay Rate**: $73,000 - $78,000 p.a.

**Benefits**:

- Tools, PPE, uniforms, work truck and materials are supplied by the company
- Weekly pays

Pay: $73,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
