**_C&K Thornlands Childcare Centre,_** _l_ocated on Beveridge Road. Our philosophy for this age group is to “slow down” and be in the moment with your child to allow them the opportunity to learn and discover at their own pace. We are focused on spending one-on-one time with babies and toddlers and developing deep and trusting relationships with each individual child.

At C&K Thornlands Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning five days a week from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

As a home away from home, our environment provides a safe, secure and supported space for your child. Our dedicated, friendly and qualified staff nurture play-based learning, fostering a life-long love of learning. Our families love our large natural outdoor area, where we encourage children to explore, discover, play and engage in nature.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Lead Educator to join the Centre. This position is for a **24-month fixed term contract,** with a possibility of extension, **working 40 hours per week**, with a monthly rostered day off.

- **Hold a completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or related qualification.**:

- Prior experience within Early Childhood Education across all age groups within a childcare setting
- Ability to commit to and complete a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care through C&K College of Early Childhood for the duration of the contract
- Possess an enthusiastic attitude towards the care and education of young children

C&K College of Early Childhood is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training to early childhood educators and carers since 1998. Via this apprenticeship pathway, our aim is to deliver quality education and training by providing work-based mentoring, tailor-made tutorial sessions delivered by experienced trainers and assessors and access to Development resources and C&K policies and procedures
