**your opportunity**

As the **Job Placement Coach**, you will be part of a support team that works together with the young person and will focus on building their skills, confidence, and readiness to enter employment through targeted and tailored activities.

**Your role will include**:

- Completing intake assessments with the job seeker to determine work readiness.
- Working in collaboration with the job seeker to goal set and implement strategies.
- Source and match employment opportunities for young job seekers using a strengths based, client-centered approach.
- Connecting with relevant community organisations to support work readiness.
- Job matching, cold calling, and reverse marketing the job seeker to employers.

**This is a Full Time Permanent Position Based in Upper Mount Gravatt QLD**

**Competitive Base Salary + 10.5% Superannuation + Salary Packaging + Monthly RDO’s**

In addition, you also possess;
- Employment Services experience and/or a bubbly and enthusiastic individual with the drive to support young people on their journey to employment.
- A solid understanding of the local labour market as well as the barriers faced by disadvantaged young people.
- The drive to meet KPIs - it isn’t just a number; it is a young person’s life that you help change for the better.
- Proficient skills in using technology and systems; our compliance requirements are high, and your administration needs to be on par with this.
- Great employer engagement skills - you love cold calling and reverse marketing.
- Your practice is client focused, our young people are at the heart of it, and you genuinely want to make a difference in their lives.

**Transition to Work (TtW)** is the Australian Government’s youth specialist employment service that supports young people to develop practical skills to gain employment or connect with education or training.
