This multi-disciplinary unit includes police officers and civilian members with varied experience and expertise in the portfolios of Domestic and Family Violence (DFV), Mental Health, Police Referrals, White Ribbon, DFV High Risk Teams, Disabilities, and Elder Abuse.

Your key accountabilitiesThe core capability requirements for this role are:
Undertake research into external and internal issues affecting the QPS, specifically in relation to High Risk offenders in a DFV environment.
Assist with the provision of well-researched, soundly based and defensible advice to senior management on issues relating to DFV.
Assist in the evaluation of QPS programs and initiatives and consult with other areas of the Service on evaluation practices, methods and approaches.
Monitor and review policing practices, strategies and initiatives at state, national and international levels and assist in the reporting on their efficiency, effectiveness and applicability to the QPS.
