Mid Level UX Designer

Company Description

We’re building a cloud based platform for eCommerce businesses. SKUTOPIA integrates with eCommerce storefronts and manages orders, inventory tracking, warehousing, and distribution. We've also deployed Australia's first automated micro-fulfilment centre Using robotics, computer vision, and great software we're giving eCommerce merchants the ability to compete on even footing against the likes of Amazon.

We’re all really excited about what we’re building and the growth forecast for the platform, and ready to welcome some smart, driven new team members.

**What we’re looking for**

As a UX Designer for SKUTOPIA, you’ll work from concept through to production to help make sure that we are going to absolutely delight our customers.

You'll be responsible for the full UX/UI design process where we are designing for a broad range of devices and platforms so you can expect to be doing things like:

- Conducting user and market research into user personas, journeys and user flows
- Turning concepts into wireframes, mockups and prototypes that deliver exceptional user experiences, solving long standing problems in new and unique ways
- Running solution validation and usability testing to inform design iterations and improvements

To be successful, we think you’ll need some experience under your belt, particularly with design systems and Figma (or similar interface design tools). Experience within startups or in shipping/logistics/eCommerce would be brilliant, but if you think what we’re doing sounds interesting, we encourage you to get in touch for a chat.

- You want to help develop other UX designers and build amazing UX capabilities within SKUTOPIA.

**How we work**

We follow Scrum, with a daily stand up and 2 week sprints. Most of the team work from home, and we trust you to manage your time. We are very collaborative and communicative though, so if you need help, or can help someone else, then we expect you to reach out.

We keep track of what’s happening with Jira and Confluence, use Slack and Google Meet to stay in touch, and try to limit unnecessary meetings.

We have a fortnightly all hands business update, and make sure we find opportunities to call out great work, and celebrate our wins.

If you’re in Sydney, you’re welcome to work from our (beautiful, dog friendly) office in Alexandria, otherwise WFH anywhere in Australia, or we can chat about coworking spaces if that’s what suits you best.

**Recruitment process**
