**Essential attributes of this role**:

- Be well informed on current research and literature on early childhood education
- Enthusiasm, caring manner and sensitivity to other's need
- Practice is based on the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics
- Good oral and written communication skills
- An ability to maintain a professional attitude to all aspects of their work
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in partnership with parents
- Understanding practice and knowledge of the Early Learning Years Framework
- Reliability and trustworthiness
- Use initiative to identify tasks/projects/requirements for the service and all environments
- Model good professional and ethical practice in work with children, families and other employees

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Diploma of Children's Services or working towards.
- Current APPROVED work with children's check
- Current Child Protection training
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
