**About us**:

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the General Manager for Parts and Service (GM), this is a dynamic position for a dedicated Health and Safety professional. The primary focus of this role is to focus on the continual development of our safety culture and workplace that strive for an injury and incident free work environment.

You will be required to assist with the driving for compliance and improvement in health, safety, and environmental activities across the business. Your primary responsibilities will be:

- In conjunction with the GM assist with leading the safety effort for FSI, contributing to the development of strategies, and the implementation of actions and partner with stakeholders to improve safety outcomes.
- Guide and assist the leadership team in WHS risk assessment program, including assessment, incident investigation, corrective action, and auditing, as well as ensuring a focus on Behavioural Based Safety and culture.
- Ongoing review and development of policy, procedures and safe systems of work
- Monitor and communicate on performance to assist the decision-making process regarding WHS.
- Engage in effective WHS consultation, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislation.
- Implement WHS operational plans and practices into daily operations, while ensuring all employees receive appropriate
- WHS training and mentoring.
- Ensure adherence to all company principles, policies and requirements related to Health and Safety and Environment.
- Ensure that WHS performance data is entered, available, and reported accurately on a weekly/ monthly basis through the WHS System MYOSH.
- Assist with the management of the workers' compensation programs, liaising with external providers to ensure proper management of injuries and Return to Work Programs.

**About You**:

- WHS qualifications similar tertiary qualification.
- Solid working knowledge of national / state / local legislation & industry codes.
- Developed capability to understand & influence behaviour.
- Successfully demonstrate ability to manage change, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritise work and manage your time.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- WHS System knowledge such as MYOSH will be highly regarded.
