Eilbeck Cranes is seeking to employ a **Fitter & Turner/Mechanical Crane Technician** to join our **Adelaide, SA Operations.**

Duties will include maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
To perform repair work to cranes, Installations of cranes, hoists and materials handling equipment and from time to time other equipment in a professional and tradesman like manner. Grinding, shaping and fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub assemblies to produce machines and equipment. Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments

Minimum requirements:
Mechanical Trade;
Previous experience within the Crane industry;
Ability to Fit, Assemble, Grind, Shape Metal Parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines & other equipment;
Ability to work with mínimal supervision & multitask;
Effective troubleshooting and problem solving ability;
Must be well organized and show effective time management skills;
Must have a current Manual Drivers License;
Must be safety conscious and the ability to promote a safe environment;
Must be available to work overtime and travel to remote sites when required;
Sound Mechanical aptitude;
