Puzzle Technician

Escape This is looking for a Puzzle Technician (Electronics) to join our Perth HQ backstage team.

**Salary**: Competitive, dependent on experience.

**Job Role**:
Electronics power the special effects, theatrics and incredible puzzles within our escape rooms. In this role you will be working alongside our Creative Director, Backstage team and Production as we design, build, modify, improve and maintain the electronic wizardry that amazes and stumps our guests on a daily basis.

Essential Skills & Experience:

- Computer literate;
- Microprocessor programming skills (C+ & Python based);
- A soldering iron ninja;
- Circuit design;
- ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry pi;
- Circuit prototyping and Breadboarding;
- Crafty, creative and highly technical;
- Experience working safely with a variety of tools; and
- Efficient, organised and able to work to strict deadlines. Flexible.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- PCB design and build;
- Cat 5/6 cabling;
- Ethernet and Serial comms;
- Audio system setup and design;
- CAD;
- 3D printing;
- Lighting Design;
- Audio Engineering;
- Other skills and experience relevant to stage production.

Qualifications: Related qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
