**Job Description**:
We are serious players in the intelligence community (that's about all we can say) and are looking for a TSPV cleared Information Systems Security Officer to join our growing team of talented professionals.

In this role reporting to the Security Team Lead you will provide clarity and visibility around information risk. You will plan and coordinate information security, governance, risk and compliance to enable efficiency, reduce costs, improve agility and optimise processes.

Role responsibilities include:

- Provide security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security Engineering.
- Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program lifecycle.
- Establish & implement system security designs in hardware, software, data and procedures.
- Provide advice and guidance to ensure compliance to the information security policies, procedures, regulations and standards.
- Verify system requirements and perform system certification and accreditation planning, testing and liaison activities.
- Support secure systems operations and maintenance.

**Qualifications**:
**About You and What You'll Bring**

In addition to having an appropriate degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or experience/combined education, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in one or more of the following.
- Able to conduct and advise on security risk assessments and system certifications.
- Technical background with an understanding of commonly developed security tools, networks and operating systems.
- An understanding of security frameworks and standards with experience creating, reviewing and advising on governance documentation including security risk assessments, breach reporting, incident management and security reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in assurance requirements including the Australian Government Information Security Manual and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF)
