**About the Opportunity**

The Uniting Wahroonga Prep OSHC is licensed for 45 children during After School Care and Vacation Care. As a specialist in Prep - Outside of School Hours Care and having a strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards, you will build a strong community culture in the centre and school, liaising with parents and developing staff.

Hours of operation are:

- 7am - 9am Monday to Friday
- 2:30pm
- 6:00pm Monday to Friday
- Vacation Care service operates 8am-6pm

**What you’ll be doing in this role**

As a **casual** Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework

**Your work may include**:

- Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes

**Who we’re looking for**
- Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous on the job experience (desirable but not required)
- Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
- A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
