**Qualified Assistant Educator for our Babies Age Group - 6 months to 22 months.**

**We are seeking a passionate, qualified Educator for our Babies Room.**

**Start Date**: July 2024

We are seeking an educator that is experienced and may be looking for a change - a place where they feel valued, appreciated and their family time outside of work is respected.

Jungle Gems Early Learning Centre is a privately owned and operated long day care centre in Nerang on the Gold Coast. Our family have a genuine love for the children in our care and our staff are an extension of this. We are proud to have created an inclusive workplace whereby our staff support each other in their job roles.

**The role is working up to 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility of set shift times between 6:30am-6:00pm.**

**Early Childhood Educator position will be given**:

- up to 4 weeks of holidays_
- Above Award Wage_
- Above required programming time given off the floor for the room_
- System in place ensuring quality over quantity children observation, taking unnecessary pressure off our Educators_

**THE ROLE**
- Your passion and enthusiasm will see you support a classroom by effectively engaging with other educators, families and children to implement the educational program for our babies.
- You will have knowledge of the EYLF and understanding of the NQF/NQS
- Work at all times in compliance with Government regulations to meet high quality standards.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood approved by ACECQA
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
- Current Blue Card
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Confident in your understanding of the EYLF and NQF
