**The Organisation**
The Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery (ASOHNS) is the representative organisation for ear nose and throat Surgeons in Australia, they provide national training programs for future Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgeons.

ASOHNS office is located in McMahons Point just a short walk from North Sydney train station and surrounded by local cafes.

**About the Role**:
As the National Education & Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination, administration, and delivery of the trainee program. You manage the selection process of trainees and support them through their training, whilst also managing the accreditation programs of partnering hospitals.

You will also attend annual conferences and meetings where you will get to meet and interact with the trainees in order to build strong relationships.

This role occasionally requires work outside of usual office hours where time in lieu will be provided.

You will be highly organised and have great attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities. You are a people person and have confidence in liaising with high-level stakeholders. This role would suit something with experience in education, training & development, assessments and/ or project coordination.

No two days are the same in this role, which you will find exciting

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Manage the trainee journey, from selection to completion of the program
- Act as the first point of contact for trainee/key stakeholder enquiries in relation to training and assessment matters.
- Participate and support in any relevant committee or stakeholder meetings and conferences as required eg. Prepare reports, agendas and minutes
- Ensure trainees adhere to curriculum, work-based assessments, examinations and accreditation.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Experience within education/ project coordination preferably in health, higher education or not-for-profit organisation
- Outstanding organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to produce appropriate correspondence, reports, agendas and minutes
- Strong administration skills with the ability to confidently use MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quickly pick up new technologies
