Then the Energy Resources of Australia (ERA) Ranger rehabilitation project is what you’re looking for

After more than 35 years operating as a successful uranium mine, the Ranger Project is entering its rehabilitation stage and offers an exciting opportunity for you to make a positive impact on the environment.

ERA has engaged the global engineering firm, Bechtel, to support ERA as Delivery Partner for ongoing study work.

Bechtel will be working alongside ERA and major stakeholder Rio Tinto to restore the land to the status of its surrounding World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. A collaborative project, this project will be developed in consultation with the Mirarr Traditional Owners and will benefit the Jabiru community.

Located 8 km east of Jabiru and 260 km south-east of Darwin, the Ranger Project will lead the way in the fast-growing area of mining closures.

**About the Role**

**Key responsibilities**
- Receives project direction and supervision from the Site Manager / PFE
- Receives technical and business process oversight from the GBU Automation Manager and GBU Function Automation leads
- Performs assignments independently with instructions as to the general results expected.
- Provides oversight and guidance to junior automation support staff.
- Collaborates with the other Project functional Automation support personnel and leads to jointly ensure integration standards are being implemented on the project, which in turn ensures data quality for the Construction automation tools
- Maintains frequent contact with GBU Functional Automation personnel assigned to other projects to gather status information and to share technical or process and procedures information and lessons learned
- Ensures the BSAPs are implemented and properly configured to comply with Project needs and with functional work processes and procedures to fully support the associated work processes on the project
- In coordination with the other project functional automation leads, audits electronic data exchanges to/from Construction BSAPs to ensure they are implemented configured correctly to support Construction work activities
- Ensures rules of credit are configured as per construction processes and procedures and review proposed deviations if required
- Reviews and reports on quantity reporting interfaces between Project Controls (QURR) and the Construction BSAPs to report on completeness and accuracy
- Provide BSAP training to team members, Field Engineering and Subcontractors as required.

**About you**
- Knowledge of Cross Functional BSAPs and associated functional processes and procedures, with a focus on installed quantities tracking and reporting, work packaging, technical correspondence, contractor management work processes, etc.
- Knowledge of industry practices including completions and commissioning management, safety permitting and critical risk management
- Microsoft Office Suite intermediate skills with emphasis on Microsoft Access, Excel, Power BI, etc.
- Industry Experience of 8 or more years.
- The above may be acquired through:

- Recognized degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Computer Science or Information Systems
- Recognized degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited college or university, and/or
- Specialized courses in general information systems or relevant information systems discipline
