What you will be doing
- Leading the coordination of various capital programs contributing to overall social and affordable housing supply across Social and Affordable Housing Growth and the wider department, including First Nations Housing and Homelessness.
- Leading the development and implementation of a reporting database and regime (including through tools such as Power BI) to enable project and program planning and monitoring of target outputs.
- Leading and supporting partnering and relationship building with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to source diverse information required to provide accurate and timely advice on the delivery of the capital program against targets.
- Undertake continuous improvement initiatives and analysis, designed to enhance program reporting and establish a holistic capital delivery program, including driving delivery against targets across multiple teams.
- Forward profiling the projection of delivery towards targets based on current pipeline, to inform and improve how the department prioritises and plans for future capital delivery.
- Lead, coordinate and participate in the management of complex strategy, performance and delivery programming functions, in collaboration with other business areas and senior officers across the department and other agencies.
- Leading the review of current and future milestones, liaising between the service delivery provider and the relevant teams to ensure discrepancies are corrected where appropriate.
- Prepare complex reports, submissions, briefs, and correspondence in relation to the delivery of social and affordable housing supply.
- Monitoring and analysing trends, outcomes and opportunities to ensure the successful delivery of the Social and Affordable Housing Growth capital programs

What we are looking for
- Effectively manage new and unexpected events and demonstrate judgement about when to escalate issues.
- Break down projects into objectives and goals, accurately scope out the length and difficulty of tasks, and provide clear and accurate reporting of progress and tasks.
- Manage internal and external relationships with clear and concise written and verbal communication and working collaboratively with others.
