You will do this by:

- Supporting continuous improvement in security maturity through consulting, education and risk alignment discussions.
- Holding threat modeling and risk assessment workshops, empowering developers and HotDoc staff to prioritise or deprioritise security work by focusing on areas of high-impact, accepting appropriate risks and escalating risks where support or decisions are required.
- Identifying control owners and supporting them to define, design and implement their controls in compliance with risk appetite and obligations.
- Facilitating periodic internal and external audits against manually tested controls, including supporting control owners to assess the effectiveness of their controls and remediate or risk accept ineffective controls.
- Bachelor in Information Systems, Business Administration, Risk Management or equivalent experience.
- CISSP, CISA or equivalent certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of risk management and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, policy and general compliance management.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security landscape and threats.
- Knowledge of Health Technology or Small-scale technology firms.
- Strong experience of process and driving change in a cloud-based environment, or the ability to abstractly interact with those concepts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

**You’re just the person we’re looking for if you can demonstrate that**
- You’re a socially conscious person who wants to be in a role that positively impacts Australian healthcare
- You’re empathetic and care about doing right by others
- You can take ownership of problems and their solutions
- You’re prepared to speak up and question the status quo
- You’re passionate about technology, health IT and/or SaaS
