Head Housekeeper

As the leader of our housekeeping team this role is at the heart of our business. Leading from the front, this hands-on role will see you working alongside an energetic team of fun-loving and committed colleagues at the frontline of ensuring our properties are presented to the highest standards for guests.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Leading a team of fun-loving and committed colleagues, this hands-on role is responsible for:

- ensuring our accomodation product is presented to the highest standards for guests.
- directing housekeeping staff on a day-to-day basis
- supporting the Manager with motivating staff, rostering, managing HR issues, training and hiring
- managing the stock levels and stock availaibility for speedy bumping in and out by teams on each shift.

The role is hands-on and will involve working in a team on rostered shifts.

**ABOUT YOU**:
The successful applicant will:

- Be highly experienced in the day-to-day leading of housekeeping teams.
- Already live on the Sunshine Coast
- possess a 'can do' attitude
- maintain a positive approach to life
- be flexible
- have a drivers license and transport
- Have strong commitment and the desire to work hard and be recognised for making a fabulous contribution

Shifts will commence immediately - the successful applicants will go on roster soon afterwards. We expect the successful applicant to be available to work several shifts a week during school holidays, as well as weekend work. Outside of this period we can be flexible towards personal needs when rostering.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $36.09 - $50.52 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
