Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Profitably growth Rain Bird Golf Sales and Market Share in Australia
- Develop, execute and manage distribution strategy in the market
- Track and evaluate distributor performance and provide regular feedback to them with a goal to develop their business with Rain Bird
- Identify and meet with key market stakeholders, such as: investors, developers, golf course management companies, distributors, contractors, golf course architects/designers, golf course superintendents, specifiers and consultants
- Provide support to golf customers by developing a thorough understanding of their businesses and the industry, identifying their needs and Rain Bird products, services or systems that meet those needs
- Work with the Golf SBU to execute marketing activities in the market
- Evaluate local market and provide recommendations on pricing promotions, product introductions, and provide strategic planning recommendations for the market

Qualifications:
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Science
- 7+ years’ successful product sales and/or specification experience
- Aptitude for quantitative analysis, strategic and tactical thinking, and detailed planning.
- Demonstrated ability to drive significant sales and market share growth
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent prioritization skills and ability to get results
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, leadership and presentation skills. Demonstrated success in utilizing influencing skills to generate results from people who have no direct reporting relationship to this position
- Experience selling through distribution and contractor channels
- Desire to grow within the organization, and willingness to accept new challenges

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Knowledge of the Australian golf course market and familiarity with key influencers in the industry.
